What is this bursary about?
The Namibian Oncology Centre (NOC) is Namibia’s only private provider of targeted radiotherapy, a critical cancer treatment service. With only about 22 therapeutic radiographers serving all of Namibia, we’re investing in the next generation of cancer treatment specialists.
This bursary programme supports our mission to build a homegrown cancer care workforce through investments in young, motivated Namibians who want to make a difference

The programme covers full tuition for radiation therapy training at accredited universities in South Africa. Successful applicants will study medical radiation therapy and return to practice as qualified therapeutic radiographers in Namibia. Absolutely. Having a foundational background in radiography is a strong advantage. If you are eligible for transfer or credit recognition into a Therapeutic Radiography programme, your studies may be shorter. This could reduce your study time and fast-track your career entry.
You will be offered a contract to work at NOC as a therapeutic radiographer.
