Our flagship facility, the NOC Eros branch is our most comprehensive facility offering consulting rooms for the Oncologists, Radiotherapy facilities, Chemotherapy facilities (new Infusion Centre at 7 Omaruru Street), our in-patient cancer care ward and oncology pharmacy.
Additional services offered in the complex include a Paediatric Oncologist, Biokineticist, Physiotherapist, Dietitian, Breast Prostheses services, Occupational Therapist, Namibia Blood Transfusion Service’s satellite blood donation clinic, and a modern CT scanning facility (managed by Medical Imaging) for the convenience of our patients.
Commissioned in 2022, our Khomasdal branch is the newest addition to our radiotherapy facilities. This is a dedicated Radiotherapy facility housing a linear accelerator identical to the one at our Eros branch. By matching the technology available at both Windhoek branches we are able to transfer patients seamlessly between the branches if the need arises (for example when one linear accelerator is undergoing preventative maintenance), ensuring that our patients receive uninterrupted care.
In 2019 NOC established a dedicated chemotherapy facility in Swakopmund to serve patients from the coastal regions of Namibia. This facility is now housed in a purpose-built, spacious and comfortable facility built in 2023.
Dr Fanouska Blom, a Medical Officer in Oncology, cares for our patients together with a team of Chemotherapy Nurses and administrative personnel, and one of the Windhoek Oncologists and a Clinical Haematologist consult patients here for a few days every month.
